Winning ReStyle Designs Selected

Molly Holzschlag, Christopher Schmitt and Donavon West have reviewed the 88 designs from 69 entrants and selected the winners. The MIX08 winning ReStyle designs are: the simply beautiful Gung Hay Fat Choy, the simply lovely Butterfly Effect and RedFire for the energetic, interesting color scheme and good typography.

There were so many wonderful designs submitted this year. The judges give 10 honorable mentions to the following designs:

Extraordinaire elegant
BauMix great use of grid design
Under the Hood very clever
MIXOS completely different from the original
Office Desk complete with the red stapler
Horror Flick 3 Part 3 of Ian Muir's YOY ReStyle submissions
Office MIX clean and simple Microsoft Office inspired design
They All Mix Together simple yet flavorful of "Mix" yumminess
The Black Cat love the way the cat looks up on a "mouse" over
Duel beautiful design

On a personal note, the design that amused my coworkers and I the most was Chad Scharf's Angry Teenager. It just made us laugh at the creative thought execution of this design. OMG!
